2019: Atiku Group Flags off Presidential Campaign

A pro Atiku group under the aegis, “Voice of Katsina Youths” converged in Zaria from across the states of the North West and North East yesterday for their inauguration and flag-off of grassroots mobilization for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2019 General Elections.

Addressing members at the event, the Director-General, “Voice of Katsina Youths” campaign group, Farida Kabir said, “We are primarily designed as a grassroots support structure for Atiku Abubakar, and will harness our vast network of PVC holders across the states in the Northeast and beyond to support all our party candidates across board, and we are sure of victory.”

Farida who noted that “the “Voice of Katsina” will leverage on the huge human resources at our disposal to ensure the yearning of the average Nigerians for a change of leadership is achieved.”

“We want to inform Nigerians especially those in the North East Zone that our leader, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is one of the finest Nigerians with the capacity to lead our dear country to achieve prosperity and economic freedom.

“As state coordinator’s, ward executives and stakeholders, your mandate is to campaign aggressively door-to-door, your mandate is to deliver your polling booths with a landslide victory across the states of the north west and North east zone, an exercise that we are kick-starting today with the formal flag off the Presidential Campaign.

Speaking further, the DG said “As we look towards 2019, having observed the state of poverty and the millions of unemployed youths without hope for a better tomorrow, the youths have decided to look beyond ethnicity, religion, prejudice and party lines, we have decided to put the future of Nigeria above everything else.”

“Alhaji Atiku Abubakar stands out, He has repeatedly touched on issue that affects the average Nigerian over the last fifteen year, Atiku Abubakar has suggested more practical ideas as to the needs of the common man more than any other candidate”.

“Every campaign should be issue based, rather than harp on the problems, Atiku has proffered solutions to the issues plaguing the country, providing succor and aide in other sectors including education, unemployment, insecurity, health, economy etc.”

“The Waziri is the best option for Nigeria at the moment, his declaration listed the solutions and he has been speaking solutions. The Nigerian situation requires problem solvers, dedicated and experienced men with outstanding leadership qualities to turn around our ugly situation”.

“Yes, we have our Buhari and others, but at this point the good people of  Nigeria needs the expertise of Atiku Abubakar. A great mobilizer of human and material resources, a campaigner of good governance, a detribalized Nigerian, Industrialist, political strategist, champion of grass root politics.

With more than 250, 000 Nigerians who have benefited from his empowerment, scholarships, jobs etc, Atiku Abubakar is the best Presidential candidate for 2019.

His wealth of experience is what we need now more than ever in sorting out our dwindling economic conditions and unemployment challenges, she said.

The flag-off campaign was attended by members and political stakeholders from the North and East geo-political zones.
